Scoring¶
The Owned Media Index scores patterns, tools, benchmarks, and standards from 1 to 5.
Scores are not popularity votes. They are editorial judgments based on usefulness, evidence, repeatability, and fit for real production.
Score Definitions¶
| Score | Meaning | Use |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | Recommended default | Strong evidence and broad usefulness |
| 4 | Strong fit | Works well in common scenarios |
| 3 | Viable | Useful with tradeoffs |
| 2 | Niche | Good for a narrow case |
| 1 | Not recommended | Included for context or warning |
Evidence Levels¶
- Hypothesis: plausible but not yet tested.
- Practitioner observation: based on production experience or expert judgment.
- Internal data: supported by Riggg or customer production data.
- External research: supported by credible public research or platform documentation.
- Benchmark-backed: supported by repeatable performance benchmarks.
